This flageolet/schulcsakan [school csakan] has two sections made of grenadilla wood: the head joint and the body. It was likely to have been made in Germany at the beginning of the twentieth century.
The instrument has no thumb hole. It has six fingerholes and six keys made of nickel/German silver. This flageolet/schulcsakan plays nicely at a pitch of a=442 Hz and is tuned in C. It has no cracks and has been cleaned and the keywork is in full working order.
