Hohner bass harmonica

This Hohner bass harmonica is really very big and heavy!!! Measuring 58.7 centimetres it’s about the same as the width of a typical PC screen. It weighs a whopping 1103 grammes! But this is actually a record-breaking harmonica.

According to the Guinness book of Records, the Hohner Chord 48 is the largest harmonica in the world. Made up of two individual instruments linked by hinges at the ends, it features a total of 48 chords, which include all major, minor, 7th, diminished, and augmented chords in 4-part octave voicings.

It is still made today and it comes as no surprise that it is known as “The Polyphonic Wonder”.

This monster harmonica was hardly used as it formed part of a collection. So, it is in mint condition!
