13-key grenadilla B-flat clarinet – anonymous
This B-flat clarinet is crafted in grenadilla and features 13 nickel silver keys and beautifully shaped ivory rings. It has no maker’s stamp but we think it is French style, perhaps made in Italy, around 1870.
The clarinet is in good condition with all parts present. However, there is a crack on the reverse side of the right-hand joint. It comes in its original velvet lined case. The case is wooden and leather bound. There is a mouthpiece with ligature and nickel silver cap.
