Contrabass ocarina – FIEHN, Heinrich
This huge, terracotta ocarina was made in Austria by Heinrich FIEHN (1846-1920). He was one of the most important and successful ocarina makers of his time. This particular ocarina is particularly special and rare since it is one of his contrabass ES 19 models.
The ocarina is made of terracotta with a black glaze. It is in very good condition weighs a whopping 2,000 grammes.
