Description
French flageolet – Anonymous
Here we have a delightful A-flageolet, which means that the lowest note is A. It is crafted in ebony with three dainty, nickel silver keys. The rings and beak are made of ivory.
We can only guess that this instrument was much loved, judging by the wear on the beak from hours of blissful music making.
This French flageolet was completely restored and equipped with new tenon threads and pads. It was entirely cleaned and the labium was expertly repaired.
Now it’s back to its previous glory with a sweet and elegant sound… pitched at a=438 Hz.
Important note
This instrument contains ivory. A certificate for the legal sale of this instrument within the European Union is supplied when purchased
