This is a separate edition from “Peter Prellure, The Modern Musick-Master or The Universal Musician, 1731, Facsimile Reprint edited by Alexander Hyatt King in the Series “Documenta Musicologica”.
This facsimile was published in 1965 by Barenreiter and contains 48 pages on the flute.
Peter PRELLEUR (1705? -1741) was an English organist, harpsichordist, composer and music theorist. This flute method is a free English translation (unattributed) of Hotteterre’s Principes de la flute traversière, Paris, 1707.
