B-flat trumpet – Hug & Co.
This B-flat military trumpet was made by the Swiss firm Hug & Co in 1947.
Hug & Co is a Swiss firm that began in 1791 as a music store and lending library created by Hans Georg Nägeli in Zurich. The company, later called Gebrüder Hug und Co. AG, was taken over by Jakob Christoph Hug in 1807 and has been under the management of his descendants ever since.
This Hug & Co. trumpet has three rotary valves. It is in good condition and all the valves and slides function. It is supplied with a mouthpiece and a green cord with tassels.
