Description
Early bugle/trumpet chocolate mould
This old tin mould was used in a chocolate shop for moulding 3-dimensional pieces of chocolate in the shape of a bugle/trumpet. It even has a decorative ring around the bell! It has the marking 1017. It is similar to those made by the famous chocolate mould maker Anton REICHE (1845-1913). This mould appears to have no cracks or breaks…but abrasion and a touch of rust due to its age. Its new owner can decide whether to use it to mould some Christmas treats… or keep it as a charming piece.
Did you know there’s even a chocolate mould museum in Germany!
