Here we have the third edition of the François DEVIENNE (1759-1803) famous flute treatise, which was originally published in 1794.
This third edition, ‘revised and expanded by Camus’ contains 145 pages and was printed in Paris by the publishing house E. Gérard et Cie after it acquired J. Meissonnier et Fils in 1860. It belonged to a certain Henri Mathieu…who seems to have put it to great use!
The book is in fair condition, but many of the pages are loose and it needs to be rebound – please see photos.
