Courting Couple FRAGONARD-STYLE porcelain brooch

An exquisitely decorated porcelain brooch made in, Limoges France, set in a brass frame. It features a hand-painted Fragonard ‘Courting Couple’ love story scene. Here a couple dressed in fine 18th Century clothing is together outside in a lovely setting with buildings and a stream in the background. The young man is serenading the lady, who seems quite interested.

This vintage brooch is a lovely item for a collector or a nice, traditional gift!
